This page is the contract behind everything else on the site: who stands behind the content, what counts as a source, what our dates mean, and what we do when we can't confirm something.
Who writes and reviews the site
Every page is written and checked by the US Strip Clubs Editorial Team and published by US Strip Clubs. We publish under a team byline. We don't invent authors, use AI-generated portraits or claim credentials we don't have. Software, including AI tools, helps us research and draft; a fact is published only when it traces to a source listed on the page.
What counts as a source
For a club's prices, hours and policies, the first source is the club itself: its website, its menu or its official social account. To confirm that a club is open and where it is, we need a second, independent source: its map listing, a review platform, local news, or a city or county license record. Every club page lists its sources with the date we accessed them.
When we can't confirm something
Where a club does not publish a price, we write "not published" rather than estimate.The same goes for hours, dress codes and age rules. If sources disagree about whether a club is open, or where it is, we don't list it until they agree.
No ratings we can't back up
We don't show star ratings or review counts copied from other platforms, and we don't award stars ourselves without a visit behind them. Rankings on our "best of" pages explain the reason for each pick, drawn from the facts on the club's page. When we visit a club or interview its management, a dated note says so. Until then, the page says it is based on published information.
How our dates work
Club pages show a Last verified date: the day we last checked that club against its sources. Prices carry the date we read them. Guides show the date they were last substantively updated. None of these dates are set automatically when the site is rebuilt.
Money and labelling
Clubs can pay for a Featured placement. Featured clubs always carry a visible "Featured" label and appear in a separate block from our editorial ranking. The Owner Verified badge is free and is never sold or bundled with advertising.
What we will never publish
We cover lawful entertainment only. We publish nothing that promotes or describes sexual services, in articles, listings, corrections or user submissions. We don't publish photos of dancers or images of people generated by AI.
